This is the Inagural Edition of the Regatta, and we are fortunate to have some great partners to help make it happen.

• Southern Branch Rowing Association

  The umbrella rowing association in Chesapeake for high school and masters rowing clubs.

• The City of Chesapeake Parks and Recreation

  Parks and Rec runs many programs including youth sports leagues. Check out their web site!

• Great Bridge Battlefield and Waterways Historic Foundation

  The Foundation is working hard to make the Great Bridge Battlefield Park and Visitor Center a reality. Please learn more about their vision at their web site.

• Communications - Chesapeake Amateur Radio Service

  CARS members will maintain raceday radio communcations, a vital resource in making the Regatta a safe and successful event. Members will be in position along the Canal, and will have direct communications with the Locksmaster and the local rescue squad.

Make it a rowing weekend. We are coordinating with the Head of the Lafayette to create a weekend doubleheader of head races. Come row with us and experience Tidewater in the Fall!
